Frequent Asked Questions

Who do you work with?

I work with preteens, teens, and adults. I am dedicated to providing a therapeutic space for individuals, couples, and family systems to find healing and growth.

What issues do you specialize in?

My core specialties include addiction, anxiety, depression, and grief. I also support clients with family conflict, parenting challenges, substance use, suicidal thoughts, trauma/PTSD, and difficult transitions in school or sports.

Where are you located?

I have two office locations: Tower Grove in St. Louis city and Northwest St. Louis County in Saint Peters. I also offer secure online sessions, so you can choose the format that works best for your family.

Do you have a waitlist?

Yes, there is currently a waitlist for both in-person and online therapy for afternoons and evenings. Please contact Nate for morning availability. If you’d like to work together in the afternoons and evenings, please join the waitlist using the contact form on this website and he will reach out as soon as an opening becomes available.

What are your fees?

Individual sessions are $175, and couples sessions are $240. I understand that access to care is important, so a sliding scale may be available depending on your financial situation.

Do you take insurance?

I am an in-network provider for Cigna, UnitedHealthcare (UHC | UBH), UMR, Aetna, & MO Medicaid* (limited availability). If you have a different provider, I can provide super-bills that you can submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

What is your approach to therapy with teens and families?

I focus on building genuine rapport and use evidence-based approaches like ACT, CBT, DBT, and Narrative Therapy. Skill-building and providing trauma-focused care to create stability are the priority for Nate.
